Summary

You know, I am sure you will think I am on the Wingnut Wings payroll, but I can assure you that 1.) I am not and 2.) these are the best plastic model kits on the market today.

Nothing is ever truly faultless, but in the Pfalz there really was nothing to fault.

The Pfalz was a sheer joy to build and it attracted a lot of attention at Scale Model World 2011, where it was on the SMN stand alongside my Albatros.

Many of you I spoke to, were I feel, convinced by my arguments and I hope that in your builds you will find this article helpful. If not, let me know what else you need as I am happy to add more if you need it.

Finally, with care and patience, any modeller with a few kits under their belt can build one and really should. For me, these kits are addictive and I intend to build more.

A Gotha was on my wants list as is the DH9 and now the Gotha is well under way – one more for you to hopefully enjoy here in your SMN over the coming weeks.

I cannot recommend this kit highly enough. It’s outstanding.
