This is an absolutely stunning super-detailed build by Julian Seddon – scale modelling at it’s very best. So much we can learn from huge feature articles like this one and the many others you’ll find in SMN. Also check out Julian’s super-detailed build of the awesome Tamiya Supermarine Spitfire Mk.IX

You’ll never see another review of the Airfix 1:72nd scale MiG-15 in such detail anywhere else! An incredible 84 images and 43 pages of A4 to keep you happy for many hours. Andy has added some simple scratched items to slightly enhance the basic kit, but wherever possible he has built this one as it comes – and what a nice model the kit is too. Happy reading…

This is a great Weekend Warrior project for you. A nice kit, straightforward to build and a great accompaniment to any other 1:48 models in your collection. Great for getting back into the hobby too and also for taking on something that is pretty different!

“The panel lines and riveting detail is exquisite on the kit. A thinned down mix of black enamel was run into all the panel lining along with the rivet holes then any excess was wiped away.
The exhaust stacks were sprayed Alclad Steel, stippled with Revell rust and then dusted over with a combination of Mig Productions Light Rust and Smoke Black pigments.” Dave Coward, Reviewer
