Wingnut Wings were at SMW for the first time and wow, what an entrance; showing not only their extraordinary 1:32 Avro Lancasters due in November 2019 but also the huge Handley Page 0/400 to add to their ever-growing range of 1:32 WWI kits.

Airfix reveals 1:24 Hellcat!

This one caught everyone by surprise and wow! What a release :) the Grumman F6F-5 Hellcat in 1:24 scale. The detail is astonishing and there was even a fully made up model on display…

Not one but TWO 1:32 Avro Lancasters!

Not to be outdone, Hong Kong Models had their 1:32 Avro Lancaster on show too and this should be available in December 2018 according to the HKM team manning their stand.

SMN Demonstrations

Jamie and I both did demos on each day of the show with Jamie showing just how straightforward the ‘Hairspray Paint Chipping’ method can be. Jamie also signed copies of his books and this proved popular too.

We’re already booked into next year’s show – can’t wait!!
