Here’s a quick look at how it all turned out – plenty of updating and scratching details!

Last year I finished a Mach2 Vietnam River Patrol Boat, It is a very crude model and most of the upper deck parts are scratched from Evergreen sheet.

First thing to do is to fix the hole in the hull and do a good sanding session to make the hull smooth, before you glue the upper ring of the hull in his place.

You need some dry-fitting, nasty thing is that on the back side there is a large triangle gap, that needs some plastic strips to build up the gap and sand it smooth. After this, l located the upper ring/hull, then placed a plastic strip around the upper for a better cosmetic look.

The hull at the front, or should I say bow, needs some putty for a nice, smooth seamless look, it is a lot of sanding but the result is far better.
