First steps…

Let me just begin by scaling these parts down for you. The pom poms are so small that they fit on the top of your finger, here they are with a one pence piece for comparison. They are made up of around thirteen parts each.

I found them tricky mostly just trying to shrink my fingers.

This is why I showed the above photo because in close up they look pretty easy to see!! This is assembled – but not as yet on its platform.

Here is a sample of the ships boats there are two of each of these. I have put them all together now and they await paint. The instructions are pretty good for this just some challenging brass bending.
