Photo-etch

It’s necessary in 1:350 scale to add some photo-etch parts – especially railings and the like and by adding photo-etch bits and pieces I hope that you can see that they further enhance the overall detail of the model. One special feature is the aircraft catapult and this platform was scratchbuilt. The boating equipment was also further detailed with left-overs from the wooden deck.

Figures came from North Star which are simply excellent.

Painting

The model was painted with a combination of enamels, acrylics and oils to create various shadows and highlights. It was further weathered with Ammo products.
