Azimut Productions/Thunder Model Morris C9B w/40mm Bofors 1:35

I was hunting through the pile of unbuilt kits that I have in my workshop to see if I could find something, for some reason, I had not built at the time. The result is that I found an almost unopened Azimut box that contained a resin kit of the Morris C9B bofors gun mount. I see from my records that I bought this kit in 2008.

I could see immediately why I had not gone any further with it. The resin was relatively poorly finished and the instructions were less than adequate for me to wrestle through at the time. Back the box top went.

15 years on and quite a few resin kits later It was time to see if I could work it out now!

The other day I was looking through the model press and saw an ad for the Thunder Model kit of the same subject. This one seemed to be largely plastic and had quite an extensive parts list. I though that they would make an interesting comparison so here we go!
