Engine deck:

It’s not my intention to describe going through the instruction sheets as this would make for a boring read.  Suffice to say the Voyager set is comprehensive and highly detailed.  Some of the tools are quite flat in this medium therefore I modified the kit’s plastic tools are only used some of the etched clips and mounts.  The storage rack isn’t provided in the kit so if you only use one piece from the photo etch I recommend using this one.

When it comes to mounting onto the hull dry fitting is essential as there is the potential that all the additions may interfere with the fit, luckily in this case it wasn’t to be.

Main construction and fenders:

With the three main sub assemblies complete the bulk of the vehicle was glued together.  I’d made sure when adding the photo etch, especially the additions at the front of the rear deck, that there wouldn’t be any fit issues by dry fitting.  This is a worthwhile step as it will save grief later on.
