Final markings
The kit does provide some decals, though these are for an aircraft based in Malta. No roundels were included. I used a combination of painting, home made decals and spares to add these final details. For anyone who wants to take the most straightforward option, an aftermarket decal sheet is available from Caracal Models, sheet CD72081.
Reflections
This was my second build of the Rareplane Dove/Devon. As always with a vacform, some aspects of the build were a learning experience. With this one, the windows were the main challenge. If I build a third, I may choose a different way to do it. There is certainly no shortage of colour schemes, both military and civilian, for this most attractive of aircraft.
