This book appears in the extensive Modelling Series from Osprey Publishing and follows their usual format.

Following a brief introduction, the book takes the reader through all the tools and products that were used in the making of the book, a useful start for those towards the beginning of their modelling career.
The subsequent chapters are the meat, where there are detailed builds of the Panther Ausf, a, Ausf. D, Ausf. G late and the Berpanther Ausf. A. All are to differing levels, from intermediate to an advanced super detailed model which has a stunning full interior.
All the articles tend to lean towards the modelling rather than finishing, which is the reason I make AFV models. However, I did pick up some useful tips, some of the techniques are very advanced such as casting your own resin etc, but it’s all in a good read and I learned quite a bit.
The finishing of the models all look a bit washed out to me, which may be due to the photography but it could be the finishing style.
This is a useful addition to my library and I’ll be dipping into it quite a bit.
Highly recommended to all levels of modellers and fans of the Panther.
