De Havilland Sea Vixen? New kit? 1:48th scale? Unbelievable!
It’s been a long time coming and many of you will now have had an opportunity to read my Here Now in-box review of this new kit from Airfix. Hope you found that useful? From my perspective it looked good on the sprues and this is the full build review – can’t wait to get stuck in.
My intention is to really get on with this build – the first I believe anywhere so that SMN can bring you our readers a completely objective, in-depth review.
So, let’s get on with it…
The instructions are very impressive at first glance and now that I’m already up to around Stage 22 I can tell you that they are easy to follow, logical and clear whether you are building your Sea Vixen with or without wing-fold. Basically the top half of the sheet is applicable for the straight wing and lower portion for the wing-fold option – a nice touch.
