I thought it might be a good idea to show you what we’ll be creating right at the start, so here’s Part 12! You will be able to see it again at the end where it belongs of course.

As I write these words (Feb 2013) the target project for this series of HD video demos – the Italeri Mirage F-1C-200 is about to enter Build Now where you can follow the whole build, in detail from start to finish. When complete the build moves to Finished Now as usual where you’ll be able to find it under Italeri.
For reasons beyond my control we have had to re-shoot this video on How to paint and weather cockpits; all very frustrating but in fact this has given us a great opportunity to increase the scope and detail of the subject matter and so what you see here is a package involving multiple steps and multiple HD videos showing you how to paint and weather your cockpits.
Right from the off I want to say that there are many different ways of achieving great results in painting and weathering cockpits and this method is one I use a lot. Sometimes I take a different approach using more or less at any of the techniques to create a wide variety of finishes – some more and some less weathered than the one we’ll end up with here.
