Full Review with Dean Large

Usually, towards the end of a build, I’m already starting to wonder what to build next. I have a fairly decent sized stash, and it’s often difficult to choose the next victim. This time however, I got a message from Geoff saying that he’d had a parcel from Airfix with three kits, and did any of them take my fancy? At once I selected the Meteor, as I have a soft spot for early British jets, and the Meatbox is the jet my Dad has flown in the back of more than once. Problem solved.
When I got the kit, I was looking through it and my first thought was that it was a bit over engineered…I was expecting lots of fit problems. I was also wondering which of the two colour schemes to model, and my Dad again solved that one when he found that one of the choices was based in Germany at about the same time he was there with the RAF on summer camp. Another problem solved.
