Telford is coming… IPMS (UK) Scale Model World
13-14 November 2010
Probably the biggest scale model show in the world – it’s true! If you have never been before your eyes will pop out of your head…no, really, consult an optician before you go to make sure you’ll be safe and able to cope. Just imagine it – three exhibition halls full of every type of trader or supplier, club, model genre whatever you are interested in you’ll find it in abundance here at Telford.
- Maybe that’s why this event is so popular with scale modellers from overseas because – they come.
- Maybe it’s because individuals don’t want to join a club, preferring to enjoy their hobby at home, or unable to find a suitable club – they come
- Maybe it’s because they’ve been saving up for months to splash out and buy all the goodies and supplies they need, because they come
- Maybe it is to renew friendships, socialise and meet others not seen for months, because they come
- Maybe it’s an opportunity to display their models they’ve worked so hard to finish in time or pit their skills against others in a healthy competition, because they come
And what of Scale Modelling Now?
SMN will be at SMW this year for the first time – how could we miss such an event. The investment will be well worth all the effort and enjoyment that will come from talking to YOU… answering all your questions about why SMN offers such an incredible, alternative or compliment to your regular paper mag.
look out for our sky blue polo shirts – blue stand and the laptops and TV screens where we’ll be demonstrating SMN live all weekend.
AND… some great freebies too – come and visit us in HALL 1

Just look at what we give you in this one review:
- 90 images
- 43 A4 pages
- 4,324 words
Amazing – each step covered in detail – many images to illustrate the build and finishing process
