HD Video demonstrations – update!
Great news here… we spent all yesterday down in Elstree filming the first two of the three technique demonstration videos for SMN. It was a superb day and I can promise you that we will be offering something very special to subscribers to SMN very soon. Best estimate will be approximately 2 weeks from today that the first film will be live and available to subscribers to SMN – can’t wait! And I hope you can’t wait to see it to?
There’s so much to draw your attention to as I pen these words that I am going to have to stay focused and pick just some of them and reserve some for next week…
Weekend Warriors update…
WW is already getting a makeover this week in look and the Tamiya Challenger 2 build is complete – check this out over the coming week to see how long it finally took Les to complete his project from start to finish. I told you it would take us longer to get it into SMN that it would take him to build it – damn, I hate it when that happens…..!
Maritime – “And I name her – HMS Abercrombie…”
The extremely good looking White Ensign Model’s HMS Abercrombie launches in 1:350 scale and is here and we have a full initial review going live as I speak in Here Now – just check out Les’s review and see the quality on offer here in this great package.
Photo Reference Library grows again…now at 26 sets!
The Bristol F2b Fighter has been added this week to give the WWI scale modellers a boost and there will be more on the way very soon for Inter-War modellers too. Watch this space for some excellent additions planned. There will be a double dose of new material in the next couple of weeks with great additions to the Aircraft and Armour PRL areas.
Armour – Steven Guy builds a Tristar?….No…..
No no, settle down you aircraft bods, the very nice Tristar 1:35th scale German Panzer 38t tank. All under way in Build Now and the second instalment coming this week, so lots to see here.
Aircraft – Wow!
Some great new models in yesterday and we are getting to work on them straight away. Keep a beady eye on Here Now for all the latest details and they go in over the coming week. We have the brand new Airfix Messerschmitt Bf-109E in 1:48 scale from our friends at Airfix and so just watch this space as the Editor feels the urge for a Weekend Warrior project looming!
See you very soon – Geoff
