Here are some great images of Tornado nose art from Andy White of West Norfolk IPMS. Here is what he says about them:
“I took [them] at Ali Al Salem airbase in Kuwait during Op TELIC 1 in March/April 2003, which was of course the operation to liberate Iraq.
I was deployed there as officer commanding the Tactical Imagery Intelligence Wing (TIW) deployment, providing intelligence gathered via the Tornado RAPTOR recce pod to the front line troops. I know that some of this nose art has made it onto decal sheets, but perhaps not all. I hope they might be of interest to SMN subscribers; please feel free to copy them to the website.”
