Full Review with Richard Allen
Just before we get started, here’s a quick look at how it all turned out…

Opening thoughts
Continuing with my WW2 Luftwaffe themed project, my next subject was the Eduard 1:48 Messerschmitt BF110C, this early version of the BF110 Zerstörer (Destroyer or Heavy fighter) felt like a good place to continue, and with Eduard, I presumed would be a good kit, despite some negative reports on the web.
The aircraft itself, came into the Battle of Britain, following considerable success during the early months of the war, specifically over Poland and France. However, During the BoB, its lack of manoeuvrability and dubious tactics, were highlighted by the Spitfires and Hurricanes of the Royal Air Force, and between July and September between 223-229 aircraft were lost.

The BF110 did, however, convert successfully into a night fighter and proved itself in a ground support role in both North Africa and the Eastern Front.
The Eduard model…
The model I have chosen to build is the BF110C-4 variant used by 4/ZG 1, operating during June 1940, prior to the Battle of Britain.
