Italeri pulls one out of the bag!

My detailed Here Now in-box review of the new 1:48 Hawker Hurricane is in the magazine and I think that you’ll be blown away by this new kit.
It’s rare that I get this excited about a new model just from seeing the box contents but this is going to be special. So much so that I am going to get straight into this model next – the Tucano is virtually finished. The Heinkel He 111 can wait a little longer; my intention is to crack on with the Hurricane so that you will see it as soon as possible.
My Here Now review contains 33 images and nearly a thousand words! How many other magazines do you know where a new kit get’s an in-box review of that length? Thought so…
…and so if you are reading this and, aren’t subscribing to SMN yet, thanks for reading these words but get in there and take a long hard look at what the magazines you do subscribe to are offering you for your hard earned and compare it with SMN.
One glance at SMN’s current cover will sum up what’s on offer but go and explore other areas and see for yourself!
More video tutorials… more techniques for SMNs Techniques Bank
You may have seen that we have uploaded more to the Techniques Bank in the last couple of weeks and there are some exciting new video tutorials coming – especially for armour modellers. Jamie tells me that our ‘big tank’ that’s going to be the basis for a series of video demonstrations in your TB Mini-Series is about to arrive and when it does we will get to work on the video demonstration for you.
The big focus is going to be on weathering your AFVs and I expect that we will generate between 3 and 6 videos for you – can’t wait!
Your SMN Photo Reference Library – now at 6,000!
Unbelievable really, but we have this week reached our next milestone and that’s reaching 6,000 images in the Library. I do like targets!
Remember, these are not just images of aircraft, armour and maritime subjects – this resource contains images unique to SMN, you won’t find the vast majority of them anywhere else. Also…they are ALL taken by scale modellers and are designed as a walkaround guide to provide high quality reference images to help you in any of your modelling projects.
We have released 138 sets so far and we are in the process of assembling at least that same number again and when I’m satisfied that we have comprehensive internal and/or external coverage the set is earmarked for release to you – and so it will go on…
Do you have any pics I can have for SMN?
Are you willing to donate any images to our SMN PRL? Especially for subjects not yet published… I will of course give you the appropriate thanks and credit for any images we use and a few of you have already come forward offering and donating some so thanks very much for that, it is much appreciated.
Onwards and upwards!
Cheers
Geoff
