As if you could have missed it! Well, I’m really pleased to say that SMN is hot off the blocks and the full in-box Here Now review is available for you to absorb yourself in. Lots of images and some insightful text from Jamie H will give you most of what you need before deciding to buy.
And… The first of two broadly consecutive builds starts early this week with Jamie’s build that’s well on the way. The second build will see another perspective from Andy Brown doing his stuff too – same model, different finish and approach – so you’ll be seeing a lot of ‘Russian’ MiG-21MFs flying around SMN in the next week or so.
And… To compliment the MiG-21 builds, I’ll be adding a full walkaround to your SMN Photo Reference Library – Set no 81
And… To help you make a comparison Dave Coward is building the Academy MiG-21MF and this is going live this week in SMN too

Subscriber Gallery gets a boost
ome extraordinary models are making their way into your Subscriber Gallery like the forthcoming entries from Hong Hwan – simply breathtaking skills on show that I have found inspirational. I though his P-40E was bad (good really of course!) enough, but just check out the weathering on his JSDF F-15 Eagle – something very special for those of you who like modern military aircraft. A full photo set is going into SMN in the next few days – don’t miss it!
Armour is on a roll!
You must have noticed that your Armour area in Build Now is growing rapidly. This means that several major armour projects will be finishing quite soon like Neil’s Tamiya British 25 PDR Field Gun & Quad Gun Tractor in 1.35 scale; Jamie H’s Tamiya Panzerjager ‘Jagdtiger’ Sd,Kfz.186 (Fruhe) Production 1.48 scale and Bill Cs Chaffee – all look fantastic finished and you’ll be able to see them too very soon – along with several other projects that are in or getting under way in Build Now.
The next weeks will see growing and exciting times for all you armour bods out there.
