The Airfix Sea Vixen was completed in record time – just over 10 days from start to finish and finished in SMN for over a week now – hope you like my review? All 36 A4 pages of it, including 66 images and 4, 319 words!

More 1:72 scale aircraft projects on the way…
And a couple of stunners they are too – with Jamie Haggo doing his best on a couple of Tamiya 1:72 F4-U Corsairs. Just to get you in the mood – here’s an image or two to help!
More 1:48 scale armour on the way…
With Big E, better properly known as Ian Whyte joining SMNs Review Team you can be assured of some fantastically motivating scale modelling. Keep an eye on your Subscriber’s Gallery, we’ll be adding 2-3 of Ian’s projects there very soon so you’ll see what I mean. Big-Es first project will be a 1:48th scale subject so good news there. Meanwhile, Neil P is also getting to grips with more quarter scale armour. We’ve pulled in another 5 1:35th scale projects too so there’s plenty to interest all you armour modellers!
USS Hornet – setting sale in Build Now very soon!
That man Les V is at it again and just as his IJN Yamato docks, another huge and impressive project gets under way, ready to embark on what must have been one of the most astonishing feats in military aviation – the Doolittle Raid – really impressive stuff and believe me, this is going to be worth following every knot of the way!!
Next week is my last editorial before Christmas – have a good one, stay warm and glued to that bench!
See you next week…
Best wishes
Geoff
