More for armour modellers just in. Saladin Armoured Car – A full internal and external walk around has just gone live and thanks to Gary Norris for his superb images.
More sets on the way soon…
Armour stuff!

Italeri 1:48th scale Autoblinda AB 43 – After three projects concluded recently, progress continues apace on the Italeri 1:48th scale Autoblinda AB 43. Neil is taking the challenging German scheme route and it’s looking great, so watch this space.
Andy Argent continues with his Dragon-M3 75mm Motor Carriage in 1:35th scale. Some nice building work and soon to be more on this build.
Highlights coming next week are:
Tamiya Tiger I (1:25 scale) This just has to be the start of Dave Smith’s 1:25th scale Tamiya Tiger I – unbelievable build this one with plenty of scratch-building and scale modelling at its best. So much for all armour modellers to learn from and pick up some good ideas and tips along the way. I am very proud to have Dave’s project included as a detailed Feature Article in SMN.
Italeri Autoblinda AB 43 (1:48 scale) – Neil’s project concludes next week and some very nice weathering to look forward to – check it out!
Maritime stuff!
Revell USS Wasp (1:350 scale) – very pleased t have this massive kit back on the go after an unavoidable break. Gareth is now making rapid progress on this complex project and an update has gone in this week to the Mag, so that’s worth checking out.
Highlights coming next week are:
WEM HMS Abercrombie (1:350 scale) – we’ll be bringing this one to a conclusion too and the final finish that Les has achieved is arguably his best to date and the finished model looks nothing short of stunning.
Italeri Elco 80ft PT Boat (1:35 scale) – more brass and aftermarket accessories going onto what is an already good-looking kit. I expect another update from mat soon, so hopefully this will make it into the pages of SMN by this time next week.
Other stuff!
