Cockpit painting…
Quite quickly the main cage is complete and you can add some of the accessories. The main cage is sprayed dark grey (NATO Black).
Tip… once the fuselage halves are closed you won’t see anything forward of the instrument panel – fact, so your call on what you want to add at this stage. You can see the large cylinder tanks fitted and painted because I wasn’t sure how much was going to be visible but, in truth I probably wouldn’t have bothered adding the tanks had I realised this (ok, I can hear the collective intake of breath from some of you, but I do generally adhere to the: “if it can’t be seen, why add it” school of practice”).
