A note from Geoff C before we get going…
As you can see, Mark has done a great job with this project and so read on to find out how it all from start to finish. You may have spotted that I have included this build in both the Vehicles and Armour areas, mainly because I’m sure the military will have used the vehicles towards the end of WWI.

Introduction…

Sometimes a kit just fires your imagination. This is what happened with this recent MiniArt release. I instantly envisaged a wagon full of dirty coal bags and coal dust everywhere. A quick check on the internet brought up a French company called Drakkar Models which made resin coal bags complete with miniature lumps of real coal. Another search came up with a suitable figure from a company called L.Z. models of a civilian worker who looked like he might be from the correct time period.

This is my first attempt at a MiniArt kit. The first impression on opening the box, is of well-produced product even if the sprues are all contained in one bag! Colourful well laid out instruction sheet, etch brass and a very colourful and in register set of decals complete the package.

Three colourful options are provided from the period 1918-1922.
