Summary

This is a stunning kit and right up there with Bandai’s best. It did take me a ‘while’ to get it finished but this was initially due to the wait for a suitable lighting kit and then me ‘forgetting’ about it. Everything fits together perfectly, so well in fact, that glue really isn’t required. The only disappointment is the decal sheet but with some care and plenty of softening solution even these settle down to give a nice finish. The lighting kit is a great touch but not essential for the kit but I would definitely recommend the grills as these do enhance the finished model.

All that said the kit is still designed to be built by even the most inexperienced modeller as glue isn’t required and ‘stickers’ are included as an alternative to the decals but an experienced modeller can make a really nice model of the Falcon as I hope I have demonstrated in this build.

Overall a great kit and a really nice addition to my Star Wars shelf in my display cabinet.
