Here is my finished model of the 1:72 Y-Wing Starfighter Easy Kit from Revell, it was finished a few months ago.
It was a tricky job, I have replaced most of the moulded piping, replaced the pilot for a Bandai one, and also the Droid.
This model was a little bit of a test case for the painting and weathering for the 1:72 Bandai Y-Wing kit which is almost ready now about a few weeks.
This kit is a easy snap fit kit that with a little bit of modelling skills it can turn into an acceptable and a good looking Y-Wing Fighter.
It was airbrushed and painted in Tamiya colors, weathering was with pastels and washes….
The standard is not the best, I will replace it and improve to a better standard to look more like the Bandai ones.
