What first attracted you to Scale Modelling?
As a young boy I would go to the local hobby shop and pick a kit to build (this pick was normally a result of what plane had the most guns on it). My father would build the kits for me till I eventually got old enough the make them myself.
How long have you been scale modelling for?
It’s been about 4 years since I returned to modelling.
Specialist area of Modelling?
I really enjoy unusual markings and planes so the Luftwaffe with their vast array of schemes and planes it my main interest from WWI and WWII.

The best thing you’ve ever built?
The next build on the bench!
And finally: Most memorable Modelling disaster?
My very first plane; a Revell Dornier D17. I remember it as if it was yesterday. I’d chosen the kit (I counted 4 guns on the box art) and the shop assistant had put the tube of glue in the box for safe keeping. By the time we’d got home some of the glue had leaked out and ‘burnt’ a hole in the front fuselage just by the glazed canopy. Some creative work with paint turned this hole into a flak hit, which in real life would have taken the plane down and the day was sort of saved.
