Airfix Mossie – a quick look
A very large box!
Opened box and a certain childhood memory came back to me – this IS an Airfix kit, not for pocket money but the large sum £129.00. Have a look at the way the contents are presented. I think more thought should have been given to this. I am not saying that anything physically is missing it just lacks that panache we all thought would be the hallmark of this kit.

Aside from this it looks a great kit. There are apparently over 600 parts and they seem to cover just about every aspect of the plane, 2 engines in great detail they look really excellent and cry out for extra detailing. The cockpit looks complete and in this scale is going to be a ball to paint. Ample weaponry plus wing slipper tanks give the impression of not skimping on the overall inventory.
