This is Revell’s latest 1:32 scale release and, without doubt, it represents a quantum leap in both quality and design compared to their previous kits. The moulding is crisp, with clean, flash-free runners throughout. The kit offers a wide range of options, allowing the modeller to accurately build all five versions included in the box (three RAF, one RAAF, and one Belgian Air Force). With the addition of aftermarket decals, these options should also cover all F.8 and FR.9 variants.

This “First Edition” boxing, limited to 3,000 kits, includes a poster, Eduard colour photo-etch for the cockpit, a mask set, and a full-colour Duke Hawkins reference book on the Meteor F.8.
My initial thoughts are covered in the linked video, along with a series of photos showing the box contents, but it’s worth saying again here that I’m seriously impressed with this kit. Well done, Revell — let’s hope this marks the start of many future releases of this quality.
